That was 'flying' over 50 years ago. We could hear it running in our school classroom about 3 miles away :)
RR favoured separate lift engines but Bristol Engines (now part of RR) produced the Pegasus vectored thrust system which powers the BAE Harrier.
This is very impressive. Hats off to the pilot and the designer. I'm looking forward to see the completed model in the air.

if it could fly forward and backwards like a plane it would be cool. otherwise, its just basically does the same job as a helicopter.

How do hit your channel , still i see what i saw before .Dont get me wrong , what you doing is great ,you found the recepie . I know how the Harrier VTOL , And frankly you have done it . But you got make it look like AV-8 not just a stick ,lol

@arcdirect um, says in the description, that is skymaster's prototype. want to see an AV-8 flying, hit up my channel. there's one flying right there as my default video. and it's not made by skymaster. cheers
