"Bad Apple!!" is the stage 3 theme of the "4th Project Shrine Maiden", or as most people call it: Touhou 4. almost, if not all Touhou music (extremely popular as they are) has been remade, remixed, or modernized in some other way by the games' fanbase. also many of the music have had songs written for them. the version of "Bad Apple!!"

The canonical first "maid" is Ruukoto in Phantsmagoria of Dim.Dream(TH3) who is the robot maid that reimu receives from Yumemi. Mugetsu dresses like a maid, but is according to ZUNs comment on her musical theme probably not a maid.
