I don't think any typographer would care, they love people who experiment, distort and rip apart typefaces for a use. Even if it is their own typeface.

ive read the book and these are the rules to project mayhem.
1st rule is you dont ask questions
2nd rule is you dont ask questions
3rd rule is no excuses
4th rule is no lies
5th rule is you have to trust Tyler
thats all i have so far idk if there is more

@funkgerat he was doing it to Emphasize LONG.. its not pissing on the font style, its creating an emphasis, which is clever in this case.

00:46 Don't EVER stretch type. That's like pissing on the type designer's work, saying you know better than him how to proportion his font.
You can select a narrow font or a wide font, you can set tracking to whatever you like, but you DO NOT STRETCH TYPE!
