Looks spiffy, it'll never be what we wish it to be. I'd agree with Enzeru's take on the lack of spring, much like the little plastic lightsabers. That and dependant on the foam/plastic that the "blade" is made of, probably some watchdog group found some way of poking eyes out or damaging our 4 and up's somehow.

Nice sword and great review! My guess is that they removed the spring-propulsion so that doing the "Thunder, Thunder, Thundercats! Ho!" motion would release the blade on its own, for like authenticity.

Great review, as usual. The sword is quite remarkably designed, as well, but i thing it could have been longer, as it is in the cartoon. Even extended, it seems quite short. Very nice sculpture & features. Thumbs-Up
