Tsem Tulku Rinpoche teaches PROSTRATION (1 of 2)

We prostrate to our Guru and the three jewels so our ego is lowered and when we prostrate from inside, it allows us to value the Dharma and have faith in it so the Dharma will go in and we will gain realization especially important to know during Dharma teachings.

100,000 prostrations retreats is a great preliminary practice before receiving higher-Tantric initiation for those who are physically able to do it. There are other preliminaries like 100k mandalas, 100k Vajrasattvas, 100k Guru Yoga, 100k water offerings, 100k tsa-tsas or Buddha images.

I heard that the best place to prostrate is where Buddha became enlightened, Bodhgaya according to Sutra view. In Tantric view, the best place or object will be our Guru.

It is very fortunate Rinpoche stays here in Malaysia. Where else can we find a Guru like Tsem Tulku Rinpoche who is a loving, young, radiant and modern High Lama.

Rinpoche is so kind to ensure those who will be attending the pilgrimage to get the maximum benefit out of this.

If i'm not mistaken, i remember this teaching was given before the Pilgrimage trip to Gaden.....Rinpoche teaches us the correct way doing prostration and it does help alot, especially when it comes to purification....

"shoujian - .I heard that when Lama Tsongkhapa went to do his prostration, after the floor that he prostrated has his foot print im-printed. is it true?" Yes, it is true. Rinpoche has explained this before. It is a true story. At that time, Lama Tsongkhapa was in his prostration retreat and he did 3.5 millions prostrations. Very amazing!
