All stimulant meds have a half-life less than 24 hours. Measuring that half life is absolutely essential to dialing in the meds correctly. Details about how long each med should last are in the Rules book and can easily be followed.

ADHD is quite treatable and easily manageable if only the targets and the tools are understood. Psych meds appear challenging because many don't follow basic guidelines, and some don't even believe in ADHD!

The absolute key is watching the DOE, the duration of effectiveness.

@SalilSundresh Yes, *Rules* covers the details for every current subset of ADHD - especially breaks down the clear fact that current ADHD diagnostic pattern are themselves counterproductive unless, of course, the ADHD symptoms are flamingly obvious. I have a whole chapter in my book ADHD Med Rules on finding and working with a doc. People need specifics as docs have a wide variety of experience, and some simply don't qualify.
