You have no idea what you are talking about, lady. (By the way--as someone who rarely eats fresh veggies myself, I can't use veggies fast enough for my rats alone, so I usually give them a little bit of what I do eat and supplement with baby food. Works just as well.)

1. Rat lifespan is 3-5 years
2. That's a horrable rat diet
3. Mixed grain diets nutritionally incomplete rat picking out only the pieces that they prefer
4. Lab blocks are considered to be one of the most nutritious sources of staple or base diet
5. Fresh fruits and vegetables are a must for ratties
6. Feeding your rats, blocks = 80% of their diet and fresh fruits, vegies and other(such as hard boiled eggs) = 15% and treats = 5% this mix is nutritious and will make your ratty very happy =)

actually rats can eat people food any kind of food.......and every rat owner has their own way of feeding their rat like me i feed my rat yogurt they love yogurt and chesses (white chesse)

No! Stop!!! You can't give a rat seed mixes! Then they'll pick and choose the yummy stuff, not the healthy stuff!!!! And I'm an amateur rat owner!!

@Animalinfermation Seeds are great as a treat! They are definitely better than other un-natural treats. I agree with you that rats should have a variety and I do provide him with a good diet. I just prefer not feeding him blocks or dog food. Would I want blocks or dog food every day all day? No. That's a cheap route anyways. Let's just agree that we love our rats.
