Hook grip ? Thats a mixed grip... But nice to see someone that understands that you are doing a deadlift and not a squat :)

@Eningmea62 This is true. And you should only use the hook and optional grip if your grip is not strong enough to handle the weight you are deadlifting.
Is it important to switch hands for the over-under hook grip between sets?

Yes, it's good to switch your hands. Some people switch them back and forth after every rep when you put the weight down. If you always use the same grip you can develop muscle imbalances.

should you be pulling your traps backwards when doing that excersise? i mean like shoulders backwards

Yes, you should slightly shrug your shoulders/traps back at the top of the lift and hold that position for a second before lowering the weight.
