the reason why Akbar badshah married 4 women of 4 religions is so that they can see the beautiful behavior of Muslims and so hopefully become Muslim and so their kingdoms also become Muslims (a way of spreading Islam). Jodhaa did become a Muslim afterwards and changed her name into maryam. but they did not tell this in the movie because of the Hindus of India (they would get pissed off!).

when muslims came to india they have not brought their womens with them but they marry hindus bcoz hindu women want to marry muslims becoz they saw their respect to women their culture their religion etc but at the time of moghals hindus do satti i mean to say they burn their women with their dead husbands muslims did good things in india the prove is the population of muslims in india

"1450 Mugalon ney isey apna payar diya ghar banaya."...a cruel joke.... they looted it n played with blood of Hindus, raped their women, destroyed 1000s of Hindu temples and made mosques at their places, forced Hindus to convert Islam to do their duty towards Islam...this is waht we can expect from Hindi movies when underworld dons like Dawood n Arabian money is flowing in the industry

Its Irony that the real villans of Indian history like Mugals, Akbars, Humayuns...r showns as heoros in Indian movies and real heros like HEMCHANDRA VIKRAMDITAYA (Hemu) who fought hard for reviving Indian rule in india by expelling cruel foreign muslim rule out of India are just sidelined in these movies. People who think that Akbar was better than other muslim rulersshould know that he odered general massacre of 30, 000 Hindu civilians after the war of Chittor n erected pillars of their sculls
