@KonsolN Later on they were pathetic, since you had Din's fire to inflict massive damage, the hookshot to stun them, and a plethora of other items. When you first fought them in Dodongo's cavern, they were definitely a step up from tektites and giant skulltulas since you had to jump around and time your attacks accordingly.
