Currently, the core of the Russian nuclear potential consists of missile systems developed and deployed by the Soviet Union in 1980s. By the end of 1990, silo-based variant of RS-12M2 "Topol-M" (SS-27) missile entered into service and its serial production was launched. Serial production of a road-mobile variant of this missile is planned for the near future. Most of existing weapons systems will reach the end of their service life by 2010 -- except for several SSBNs, whose warranty period expire by 2015. However, missile systems of these submarines will be out of warranty much earlier -- by 2002-2003. Testing of a modernized missile (Bark) for SSBN Typhoon was cancelled after several unsuccessful launches, and development of this missile system was stopped. Efforts on extension of service life of the Tu-160 (Blackjack) and Tu-95MS (Bear H) bombers will allow these aircraft to remain in service till at least 2020, however their cruise missiles have mostly reached the end of their lifespan, while development of the new ALCMs is carried out at a too slow pace.

  • @Arashieatssweets Have you ever heard the saying "Never judge a book by its cover"?

  • @happydiskproductions not there apc's i guess

  • @Arashieatssweets but doesn’t all russian stuff?

  • call of duty 4 !

  • i think @ruzlanz will agree...the people didn't want that. none of us want to die before our time. the Cold War was useless, just governments thumbing their noses at each other. regardless of your political stance, i'd highly doubt anyone would think nuclear war is a good idea nowadays.

  • the music is annoying

  • Awesome video Russia, but the question will always remain the same: “Can anyone breath radiation fallout or drink radioactive water?” During ww3, Russia has one more invader. First invader was Napoleon and the second invader was Hitler and guess who the third in invader is: I have already given one a hint, radiation poisoning. It will be interesting to view how Russia handles an invader which ones bullets pass through. Best of Luck!

  • and produce what we invented. Some defend it by saying were doing it to slow down enemy defensive ability or for treaties but were allowed to do it and have had no true combatant threat since the USSR struck her colors... do some research before you blow off about what you haven't been educated on. None of you're "super super super " power crap, just quality over quantity in matched opponents

  • Jacobg1777... the soviet union had almost 11x what we had, and in '91, Russia kept most of it... Russia could overwhelm us any day and we only have an advantage because of newer tech and more strategic warfare, and were losing THAT due to our lack of production, we could've replaced todays 20 year old fighters with f40s by now of wed get off our arrogant asses
