For what it's worth this has to be the best U2 performance you will see on 'you tube' - certainly, in terms of their early 80's period. The atmosphere, setting, energy, verve and passion all just fuse together. Simple Minds are now my favourite band but back then U2 were something very special. Who gives a fuck if they were considered 'cool' or not. It takes more heart 'n courage to be open than it does to be some prick trying to create some form of detached mystery.
