More Info: www.rapidnadion.com (Description below)

The newest addition to the Rapidnadion fleet, "Iolaire," is a 32.5" drake-tail launch driven by a single-cylinder VR1A steam engine. The weather on this particular day was very reminiscent of "Iolaire's" home port! This model was scratch-built out of balsa, birch plywood, cedar, mahogany, ipe, pine, and bass.

  • it would be cool to see how this boat was made its really cool Nice job

  • @TheHawk431 Thank you!

  • Beautiful vessel. excellent presentation.

  • @Trolleymoose Many thanks!

  • can u do a video on how you made the Iolaire

  • @Jakanddaxter1999 We may do that - it takes a long time to put together the how-to videos, and unfortunately these steam boat videos don't get much traction on YouTube, so it's not all that cost effective. A shame, because we love these boats.

  • @Rapidnadion Could you make a short video on how the basic steam engine works? I'm trying to design my own RC Boat but have no idea on where to begin engine wise!

  • @solomonkane23 Thank you!
