This video was put together with three captured clips taken with my Nikon Coolpix 8700 camera set to movie mode , which is 5 years old (and still hanging in there) . On a DVD in DVD format it's amazing how good the clarity and resolution are--even when viewed on a large 40" LCD! I added the still images that I and Jayne captured after the three video clips with my Nikon digital camera and placed an MP3 of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" in the background using a video editing program (Pinnacle Studio v. 12). More important than the technicalities of how this video was created, is how incredibly CUTE the baby lion (17 weeks old as of 8/23/2009) is in the video, and how much FUN Jayne and myself had being able to 'play' with him, even if it was through a gap between the bars of his cage at the Everglades Outpost in Homestead, Florida. The Everglades Outpost is an animal refuge center in South Florida and, as it turns out, this little guy has actually been featured on TV on the Jimmy Kimmel show, Animal Planet, Sabado Gigante, and on the Today Show with Dave Salmoni. His name is "Musafa "and he is a male African black-maned lion cub, who will soon be too large to be kept in a cage where people can play with it (unofficially--the people that run the center will tell you NOT to reach into the lion's cage--I'm sure that they have to do so for legal liability reasons) as you will see Jayne and me doing in the video. I am a Leo who has ALWAYS wanted to play with a baby lion and, as luck would have it, when I called the Everglades Outpost on Sunday, 8/23/09 (which was the conclusion of my 4-day birthday weekend) to inquire as to whether they had any small lions (or other wild feline) cubs--they did. Jayne and I immediately drove down to the center in Homestead, and it was the PERFECT ending to a Leo's birthday weekend! If you're going to go, make sure that you go soon, while litlle Musafa is still little enough to be kept in that same cage!
You're the retard--we never HAD seen a cub before--by the way, what country ARE you from anyway? Must be some third world country!
