  • I would really like to buy this cam, but i have heard some bad things about the battery life? is this with the lithium pack that it comes with? or can you switch them out with energizers? i'm a little confused here... and by the way, nice riding, happy trails ....

  • @polar600prox2 I use Energizer Lithium Ion batteries. This is especially important in the cold weather as standard batteries sometimes don't work at all. With the longest lasting lithium batteries I can find I usually get a few hours of recording on one set. If it's real cold I may only get an hour. Still a great product.

  • how r the trails in vermont

  • @waster50001 They are good trails for the most part. All depends on the weather. Personally I wish we got more snow up here, trails are getting boring for me. I search out the untracked side trails that prove to be more challenging and fun.

  • How'd you mount the camera? I have a BVS II helmet and am having a helluva time finding a place to put my camera without interfering with the helmet operation!

  • @BassDaddy907 With the helmet open I placed the adhesive pad as far forward as I could while still keeping the function of the open face of the helmet. When I mount the camera I use the longer mount bracket which allows the camera to be up a little higher. If you don't use the longer bracket the camera is too close to the helmet, being so far back and you don't get much on the camera.

  • @polar600prox2 the updated versions they sell now are awesome i have the go pro hd check out my vis if you would like to see how it looks. i record it in 720 but can go as high as 1080 just makes for slower viewing on the computer though. my battery has never run out but i fill memory cards really fast

  • lol just tired going ou all those stairs lmfao

  • i dont see the fun in trail riding, try riding in 4 1/2 Ft of fresh snow in the mountains, wouldn't that be way better?

  • @polar600prox2 Brosive! get the Hero HD, its 299$ comes with a lithium ion battery, can last a whole day! (8hours) and get a 32gb kingston SD card and you can film the day away ! (note you can only run 8 hours on 720 at 60fps or lower quality)

  • @polar600prox2

This is the Standard Definition model. The HD one was upgraded in just about every way, including battery life.
