It must be a freezing water... Are you in dry, or are you totaly wet? I would be ill in five minutes and death in few days. What is the trick? ...perfect clothes?

@Urbeee These days they wear dry suits and immersion suits. So they stay dry and can maintain body temperature if they go over the side. When I did it we had neither. Our waterproofs were excellent but a little water could creep in. If anyone went over the side, they had a very short time when they would stay conscious. 15 minutes tops. The water temp below 50º South averaged about 3ºC.

@abcwzx I've searched high and low and cannot find it. I'm alright jack as I've kept a copy. I'm sure there would be many yachties who would love to buy a copy.
