@jellybean2423 A huge number of volunteers go on to employment that is directly related to their volunteer role - often in the organisation they volunteer with (our own community organisation is a good example!) Others volunteer because they genuinely enjoy it. Try asking a voluteer one day what they get out or it or better still, have a go yourself :)
