  • @cybertiger19 estas correcto

  • I enjoy both sports and rugby, there is no reason for a pointless argument over 2 very different sports by reason of what seems to stem from both are called football by different people. Both games came into their modern form around the same time, 1863 for Soccer and 1873 for American football. Soccer hasn't really changed much since where as football has increase the amount of padding as player became larger and faster. Maybe this can calm some people down in a pointless argument.

  • Soccer players mostly weight in at 150 -170lbs or 68 -70kg due to the fact that they run endurance more than sprints and have very strong legs to be able to kick as hard as they do. They don't wear pads because they don't need them with the exception of shin guards. American football players where pads for safety reasons as well as psychological, you will be more committed to put your entire physical strength and speed into a hit if you think you are protected.

  • Furthermore, Soccer ( a British term I might add) and football have different physical requirements. Such as American Football players focusing more on sprinting than on endurance running like soccer. Football players in certain positions are rather large but not because they are obese, most can bench press close to 750lb or 350kg and squat half a ton. These are lineman and they weight so much because it makes them harder to push around.

  • Football sports all involve, to varying degrees, kicking a ball with the foot to score a goal. The most popular of these sports worldwide is Association football, more commonly known as just "football" or "soccer". Unqualified, the word football applies to whichever form of football is the most popular in the regional context in which the word appears, including American football, Australian rules football, Canadian football, Gaelic football, rugby league, rugby union and other related games.

  • @ryancharlesshow kick in the shins....fuck off no american footballer would last 5 minutes in game because most of the players are fat cunts and they get a break every 10 seconds.

  • LOL @ the losers comparing 2 completely different sports. Why not compare Ferrari's and double decker buses while you're at it huh?

  • @Chris199456 Being an American myself, I really must agree with you. I've always thought pretty much the same thing.

  • Dont care what americans think about football(soccer), its requires more skill and doesn't stop play every 10 seconds.

Basketball is your only decent sport.

  • futbol rules gringos!!!!
