Since the upcoming X-Men First Class film will feature this character, I decided to make a video telling the story of Darwin: the Evolving Boy!
Please comment and let me know what you think about the music. I chose this song because I think that Darwin's origins are quite sad, you know, his mother's regret and all that...

Darwin's (Armando Muñoz) Story; from the X-Men

Darwin is a mutant with the power of Instantaneous Adaptation: powers of self-protection and continuous circumstantial evolution. Darwin is able to adapt to any situation. His reactive mutation adjusts his capabilities to his environment. For example, his eyes would adapt to seeing in darkness, his lungs would adapt to poisoned air. He would become impervious to heat or smoke in a fire and he would grow gills when put underwater.

  • As many people have already commented: Darwin is way more powerful in the comic book, he's not suppossed to die so easily. Deadly Genesis is the first saga in which he appears, he is "killed" by Krakoa, but he just evolves into a beign of pure energy and rests within Vulcan, resurrecting years later. During World War Hulk his power makes him teleport away so he can survive, which proves he does not have control over his power.

  • @ironcolossus4 Also, he's able to stop Hela (Godess of Death) once, he simple touches her and becomes a GOD in order to survive her death touch. he developes a death touch of his own.

    THANKS 4 ALL YOUR COMMENTS!

    MUSIC SUGGESTIONS??

  • I would have so loved to link this video to my brother on Facebook to show him what Darwin was all about, but y'know...the song. No thanks.

  • @ChocoboDreams just give me a suggestion & i'll change the song...

  • wait who was waiting in the lobby? WHO WAS WAITING IN THE LOBBYYYYYY?!

  • Love the music choice. Really add to the sad story and i am not a Glee fan. To bad they killed him so early in the movie. I think he would have made the movie better =)

  • they should have gave hiom the credit he deserves he not only can adapt to survive but he can teleport and he fights the hulk also

  • ...So Darwin is Marvel's version of Doomsday?

  • The one who is torn apart, or June Mermaid would both be good replacement songs.

  • @ironcolossus4 I think that June Mermaid would be a perfect replacement song, you would probably have to re-upload the video though.

  • @ironcolossus4 How about "Our battles" by Maria Mena for the second half -instead of repeating the song, or choose Evanescence, lacuna coil, flyleaf (Again, Okay, are good decisions) for the first part. But yeah, this was amazing and I never would've been able to find out the story without this video. So thank you! :) Don't be worried about all the comments telling you about the song. This video isn't about the music

  • This song.... :| Why?... Could you not have found something else? Hell I could have dealt with any of the overused songs... Linkin Park, Evanesence, Distrubed.... ANYTHING but Glee....
