This video was a spur of the moment creation I made with my old college roomie, Nicole (aka the melon girl). We used to listen to this thing back in the day and on a night when she came to visit and we had to make a trip to the supermarket we decided to make a silly video about our trip. This song of course popped into our heads and then after a little editing here is what we came up with. I have to say we got some great looks in the store while trying to make this...
This video is totally in the spirit of FUN! We are not trying to make a literal interpretation of this great song by The Clash! We just liked the tune!
So sit back - enjoy, relax and don't take this too seriously.

yes we all know the clash are singing about a figurative supermarket.
but why can't this be figurative as well? This video could just as easily be one big metaphor, physically representing it. That would arguably be the best way to portray this song.

Good job, but just to all, I have no sense of humor and I am the kid who reminded the teacher she forgot to assign homework. Everyone is like "FUCK YOU NATE" all the time. Nobody likes me.
