It's a "balloon fruit" that the genie plants inside people so that they have to serve him. If he chants a magic spell at them they'd blow up like a balloon. I watched this episode last night and just knew this scene would end up online, lol.

most of it is because of American censors who claim that the large plot is a "no no", so a majority of it is butchered.

Look at the Mazinger Z anime, most of it is uncensored and dubbed in Spanish
