  • @NaftaSmeralda I don't know why John brought back the "old" Rick for this song... maybe he wanted to imitate the sound of The Byrds (Roger McGuinn's trademark sound is the 12-string Rickenbacker)

  • @gdholmfirth Yeah the rhythm stuff sounds like John's Rickenbacker to me. He definitley plays the Rick on the take 2... so I guess he plays it on the remake too.

  • The rhythm guitar, not either of the leads, sounds to my ear like John playing his Ricky. He's playing E in the D position. Anyone know for sure what guitar he is playing on that part?
