Dwight Frye and some other people play the villagers who are suspicious of the going-ons at the old Frankenstein place...
This is the last horror film that Frye appeared in.
Uploaded because today is Frye's 108th birthday, and I just figured out how to use Windows Movie Maker. :)
I can just imagine the wolf howl followed by the words of an assistant director: "Cue the angry villagers!"

Dwight Frye must have been relieved to know that this was one time the monster wasn't going to kill him.

I am so glad they put Dwight in this movie. I love it how the same actors play different characters in many of the Universal monster pictures. Lionel Atwill is one of my favorite actors that was in many of them.

He did dance, right after the first verse is finished they pan out to show the crowd and he is dead center dancing.

Lawrence and Maleva were always great characters, it's a shame their parts couldn't have been used in a pure Wolf Man sequel instead of Frankenstein Meets The Wolf Man.

I don't think he's dancing but you do see himgrinning away in the background in the "Faro-La, Faro-Li" number. Pity the last verse was cut (where we would of finaly got to see some smooching action from Mr Frye) along with his dancing with Ilona Massey :(
