Transformers Opening Titles: Animated (One Minute Version)

Unused opening titles from "Transformers: Animated". Features the longer title song as seen in the SDCC 2007 preview.

This comes from the DVD bundled with the Animated Optimus Prime and Megatron Battle Pack, and was originally posted by YouTube user "TFW2005" (for the TFW2005.com boards). I was originally just going to link to it, but the aspect ratio is off, which bugged the hell out of me so I fixed it.

Unfortunately that means a very slight drop in quality along the way; check out the original post and make up your own mind which you prefer, although they're ultimately the same clip:

For all those who think Animated is too kiddie, you're forgetting that so was the original cartoon and every other Transformers cartoon after. In fact, the purpose of the original cartoon was really just a show to go along with the toys. Even the creators had no idea how popular it would be. They only found out, albeit the hard way, when they got the backlash from killing off Optimus Prime in the 1986 movie.

... I was wondering when I'd see someone bite on Yukito Kishiro's Rakete Hammer. from Battle Angel Alita. Took 18 years, but they finally did it with Prime's Energon Axe. Feh. G1 Forever.

@AeonMagnus Something else, Maybe is just me, but the way that the characters have flashbacks in Transformers Animated reminds me of the way that Bruce Wayne had flashbacks in Batman Begins

@AeonMagnus The animation has the same feel as Samurai jack and Teen Titans. Nothing similar to Armada. As Justice league and Titans, the story is the main attraction of the show. Because it lends itself to be more comical, it can play on more serious and darker themes. This show is actually very dark, especially season 3. Magnus and Megatron are capable of doing anything, so they are not that different. Well written story. Oh yeah, it might look kiddie, but is not a kid's show. As good as BW.
