Guy Neff, M.D., M.B.A., Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of South Florida and Chief of Hepatology, Tampa General Medical Group & Transplant Program, presented "Paradigm Shifts in Management Concepts For End Stage Liver Disease" on May 24, 2012.
The talk focused on understanding the importance of early diagnosis of the cirrhotic patient, identifying treatment strategies to stabilize sarcopenia and fatigue in chronic liver disease, and improving outcomes in cirrhotics by management of portal hypertension.
