Jump'n in Buenos Aires (dual line stunt kite)

Some fun footage from my first trip to Buenos Aires in 2006, hanging out in Vicente Lopez... In this video I'm flying my Jump (by Level One) through a dogstake (lines doubled back to the pilot), using 90# LaserPro Gold lines.

The technique with the lines is called "dogstaking" where the pilot's lines run through a dog screw upwind, so they're able to physically interact with the kite. ;)

Same lines and kite I often use, just 1/2 as long since it's running through the stake.

im a complete kiting nub so whats the deal with the pulley system or whatever he is using. just for a better/closer view?

im thinking of getting my first 2 line kite but im a little apprehensive about spending the kind of money it takes to get one on a kite. i currently fly/build single line kites and im interested in going for height but i also think this type of flying would be something im interested in.

@mxf7010g8k : You can get into a dual line kite for between $50 and $400, depending on the performance you're looking for... The kite in this particular video is called the "Jump", made by Level One for about $100.
