UPDATE 01/09/2012:
A lot of people have attempted to install H1Siri and caused their devices to be stuck at the Apple boot logo. If a tethered boot via RedSn0w doesn't work, here is a way to fix that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KB8ms3Za8KE

UPDATE 01/03/2012:
I have found several other channels that have stolen this video and reuploaded it as their own. Their stolen versions are exactly the same, except in lower quality and offer download links to Siri ports. Please DO NOT CLICK on the links, as they are fake and lead to adware.

Just released days ago, H1Siri (available via Cydia, special repository needed) is the first publicly released fully-functional port of Apple's voice assistant Siri to older devices.

Siri is a feature officially exclusive to the iPhone 4S, released October 2011, and allows users to execute commands on their iPhone 4S device by voice. It is a groundbreaking innovation in mobile AI, and has been sought after by many users.

Ever since the initial release, there have been many attempts to port Siri to older devices, which do not officially support it. Several people have succeeded in doing this, but did not publicly release their port. This is due to the authentication with Apple's Siri server. There have been numerous GUI ports, which allow the user to bring up Siri's interface, but these have never successfully connected to Apple's servers, because only requests made from iPhone 4S devices are permitted, hence rendering past ports mostly functionless.

H1Siri is the first public port that includes the server authentication, allowing users to communicate with Siri from Apple servers with an older device.

However, there are many issues with this hack, ranging from system instability to privacy dangers. This video will outline both advantages and risks with H1Siri.

  • I just downloaded it on my iphone 4 and tested it out nd it froze on my apple logo but when I tried it on my second iphone 4 it downloaded properly and it worked but after awhile it stopped. But theres also another tweak called spiere that has been workin for me since I downloaded it but you need access to a iphone 4s...

  • @TheDjseanie The Apple logo loop seems to happen to a lot of people. You can get out of the boot-loop by forcing your device to enter Recovery Mode. This video's description has been updated and has a link to the Recovery Mode tutorial.

  • dont install it its fucked my ipod

  • @Tal1m This is exactly why I didn't provide download links and installation instructions.

  • Haha I used redsn0w 5.0.1 unteathered! If you have earlier redsn0w install corona on Cydia and reboot and you have unteathered !

  • They wont brick my device?

  • So does anyone know when a working server might get up and running? thanks

  • @LeonardoYokhana

and waste my money on a iphone 4s when iphone 5 is right around the corner, no thank you!

  • I googled it for two seconds as was stuck on apple boot logo, to find out - Have to be in DFU mode then use redsnow to boot the phone as its a tethered jailbreak. Ure phone, ipod is not bricked.....go into redsnow, click "extras", click "select .ipsw manually" and choose ure .ipsw file, then click "just boot", follow instructions for DFU mode and it will work. I though am getting the network connection problem, still googling that, but you have to select her from general under settings
