thanks but actually they are the geared friction pegs. these are wonderful 4:1 tuning ratio. very accurate!

these are actually the rage with the violin community. mike dasilva put these in the instrument. i am sure that you can ask him. i also think you can get them on the stewart macdonald site (stew-mac). best of luck.
