When this album dropped 2x5 got overlooked, since it was the Double Sextet that won the Pulitzer. The truth is that this is just an ingenious piece, and critical attention will come around to see it sooner or later.

i believe he is a good drummer, it just seemed to be lacking that "in the pocket" feel in this performance!

the drummer is David Cossin, and he most certainly doesn't need practice for this piece. I've seen him do it totally live with another member of BOAC, and he was flawless.
