@parafleet Chris Doyle, Iowa's strength coach, is among the most respected and seasoned in the country and served at Notre Dame when they were amazing. What I am hearing is that some of the players took a certain LEGAL muscle supplement that did not react well to the routine. Simple as that. The spin from the haters is pretty telling though.

Arizona kicked the living shit out of Iowa yet Iowa gives their coach a hefty contract extension! The guy is making almost 4 million dollars a year and he's never even taken the team to a BCS title game. What a joke! Hell, most years he can't even beat Ohio State! OVERRATED!

Iowa's d held them to 13 points but the special teams spotted them two touchdowns in the first quarter and they had an 85 yard TIPPED interception return. Just a fluky game for Iowa. And that "overrated" coach won a BCS game last year.

@spiderdragon1969 Iowa was down 27-7 at halftime. Had Stanzi thrown the ball accurately that tipped pass would have never happened. Iowa got a touchdown off a turnover but you conveniently forget to mention that. Was that a fluke? Iowa got their asses handed to them on national t.v. The dream of playing for the national championship is OVER! Stop making excuses and admit that Iowa was overrated and got whipped!

@spiderdragon1969 Yea lets examine that. Iowa gave up its first true punt block since 2005 inside its own 15. Then Iowa gave up the first TD return on a kick-off since 2001. More fluky than a fumble homey. In the SAME 1st quarter Iowa drove down the field but had a tipped pass intercepted and returned 85 yards for a TD. TOP in the first quarter: Iowa 13, Arizona 2. Score: Arizona 21-7. When the craziness settled Iowa outscored Arizona & the Iowa defense only gave up 13 yea we got killed by 7.

@spiderdragon1969 The tipped ball was on McNutt. Also, Iowa is still the highest ranked 1 loss team.  We have SIX ranked teams on the Iowa schedule. If Iowa takes care of business they move back into the top 10 in 4 weeks. You know your program is doing fine when haters like you come out of the woodwork and have an obvious obsession with Iowa. It's pretty entertaining. please, by all means, stick around. BTW, did your school win a BCS bowl this January? And don't bring up 10 yrs ago haha.
