@sweepstakes because jian obviously thinks the guy is too interesting to be humble. its the same way he treated lupe fiasco when he went in on his spill about he didn't think he was a great rapper. the people jian interviews fulfil his personal standards of artistry, therefore he thinks they should think better of themselves. he perceives humility as insecurity, instead of a virtue. its common thinking, but in louis or lupe's cases, clearly off.

It's really interesting, in his act he is playing this angry, frustrated jerk but the real Louis CK is such a modest, sympathetic and intelligent guy. He is hands down one of the best comedians of our time. Great interview!

Yeah Jian is really great as people say. No ego, always interested in the people he's interviewing, doesn't try to be unnaturally entertaining, asks relevant questions. Just a top notch interviewer.
