@4l4ddin77 20 not 30..and also what does that have to do with anything????
-
@OverandOutChief1 Haley will never be forgotten just because he´s the "Daddy of Rock n Roll, Little Richard will never be forgotten by all heavy metal bands and punk rocker bands too. Gene Vincent will never be forgotten cos he wrote the hit Be Bop a Lula" a rockabilly classic that Elvis was unable to do. Haley inspirations on Elvis is that Elvis was Haley´s collaborator. Haley sang for Elvis in Germany in 1958.

@willpn100 All forgotten. Haley was left over from the big band era and had much of that sound still in his music. When you listen to Elvis, you get the early sounds of Rock. There is no line between them. It is funny how Elvis never cites him as any inspiration; just you. No, instead Elvis cites local and regional singers as his inspiration.

Fantastic...no auto tuning either. How many of today's singers can even remotely get close to this?

1:46 thats rock and roll right there

@Ali9149 You must not forget: Bill Haley & The Comets; Gene Vincent & The Blue Caps; and Little Richard & The Upsetters!.
-
@elvisinmunich Elvis once said: LRichard you are my inspiration and gave LRichard a bible. All Elvis fans must love Little Richard!
-
@elvisinmunich I don´t hate Elvis. I just don´t like obsessed fans opinions that warp all rock and roll history. They´ve only gotta give big ups to marketing!.

Little Richard said: "Elvis was God-given. There's no explanation. A messiah comes around every few thousand years, and Elvis was it this time."
-
@willpn100: Why do you hate Elvis so much?
thank you king

Tiny Time- of course there are many great artists, better singers, better musicians, better dancers, better songwriters- but nearly every rock and roll artist at the time ( 1950s) and since-have recognized Elvis Presley to be the standard of a music star. HE set the standard. He was the one who made the biggest impact. He influenced more pop artists around the world, influenced culture, changed the dominant form of Pop music. He was the first - and that's why he's still the King.
