Day of silence 2009

The national day of silence will be held on April 17th. This is a poem i wrote expressing what the day means to me. Enjoy. :@)

"they never seem
to hear our words
so today we've decided
not to say them
they always try
to shut us up
so today
they get their wish
but in our silence
they will hear more
than we could ever say
they will feel it more
than they feel our wrath
it will ring in their ears
and scream at them louder
than our voices are able
and maybe after
they feel our silence
they will be ready
to hear our words
and tomorrow
we will say them

amazing.a few years ago at school on the day of silence, these kids from churches passed out pamphlets talking about how gays should die and should go to hell and be burned at stake, it was just horrible. they are so pathetic for choosing a day where some cant even defend themselves. i find that to be a bit

sickening.they think gays are the ones that are going to hell, but they are the ones that are spreading so much hate.I am not gay, but i support!
