  • what a great film!!

yeah, john cazale is really good :D

  • It is my fave Pacino movie. The fact that both of them were in this movie made it that much more amazing. Thanks for the comment.

  • John Cazale should've been nominated for Best Supporting Actor instead of Chris Sarandon.

  • Cazale's death is so tragic. He would have been a huge star, all of his five features are excellent.

  • youtube should put a ban on videos of TV screens.

  • Wow what a monster . R.I.P mister john cazale

  • I wish there was a couple more seconds of this scene so we can hear Stanley Lumet busting up in the background, but thank you for posting it!

  • Thanks for uploading. People like you make Youtube a valueable source for information. I don't want to watch classic movies for free on the internet. I am currently watching the film on Tv and missed the classic "Wyoming" scene. Because of you putting this up, I will buy the DVD tomorrow.

  • he was a character actor,i dont think he would have been a "huge star" he didnt have the great looks.just incredibly acting ability.

  • In honour of Sal, I am betting Wyoming +31 over TCU. This one's for you Sal!

  • Pacino makes a critical choice right after this clip, and plays it straight. Two greats working perfectly together, and a reason why Sidney Lumet -- as great as this film and despite the not so good -- is a real giant among motion picture directors.

  • The IMDb boards (I know! but srsly) contain a lot of interesting info and discussion on this film. Well worth a look.

  • Cazale ad-libbed this and although Pacino kept a straight face, apparently the director (Sidney Lumet) did burst out laughing - and thought he'd ruined the take - one which couldn't be repeated because of the genuine spontanteity. Fortunately he kept it going and it turned out, much to his relief, that he didn't.

  • I gotta give Pacino some credit here for not dying laughing. Had he not played it off correctly this would have been a blooper and not one of the best scenes in the movie.

I love this movie, pretty amazing how much of it was improvised.
