thank you for this

The Alaskan DOT proposal is just insane.

That was a great message. Beautiful shots and quite a journey. I hope the state does not build the road.

Nice video. Thanks for the info and the close up on the road access. There are much better ways to spend transportation money. It would ruin Juneau and the unique place it is. good luck.

You let the gov. build one road, then another one will inevitably be built, and another one, and another one, then people will begin moving in, then shops, then stores, then Wal-Mart. If you don't want the gov. to destroy this beauty don't allow this road to be built.

Thinking of the permanent destruction to that beautiful area that building a road (if even feasible) would cause, just makes me feel ill.

nice view in 6minute16second hehhehe

awsome vid will, mike!!!! The road would be a bad idea. It would destroy all of the east side of the lynn cannal. Keep on fighting this guys!! You got my support!!! Looks like a fun trek and lots of rock to climb.
I hope I never hear about construction crews going through that beautiful land to build this road. It would be at their own risk, I mean some of those hazards will surely lead to some contruction worker injury.

SAY NO TO THE ROAD! If this video meant anything at all to you, write your congressman today and suggest that for far less than two hundred million dollars the citizens of Juneau who want to travel outside their city can be provided with subsidies to use the existing ferry and air services. In addition to protecting the environmentally sensitive Alaskan landscape and its inhabitants, the inevitable costly lawsuits over this issue can be avoided. Your personal letters to congressmen do count!
