7:10 wtf?!!

Brilliant performance by one of the greatest cellists alive, Emanuel Feuermann!! At about 2:44 the orchestra got lost and wasn't together, but it wasn't Feuermann's fault. Anyway, E. Feuermann still played it very well.

genius as always. but i wish it was Schumann concerto.

@MrMoonme Oy. I love his playing so much, bummer that he didn't tune to a440 :(
-
In europe some countries use a higher concert pitch such as 443 hz where as US is 440. I know Hungary does and Feuermann is Hungarian.

One person who has never played the cello before...

The best who ever lived without a doubt

@TheCourtwick and it is quite an instrument. I read in his biography by Annette Morreau that he paid 1000 pounds and his Montagnana for the Strad. Fair deal if you ask me lol.

5:13: Checks to make sure strings are in tune! HAHA In case there was any doubt about it being one take....

@dbpsoccer121 Because it's an old version? I believe all older recordings are slightly off key and with a different quality.
