@trainmasta227 thats impossible someone has to be in the cab car for the train to operate safely. but since the door is low and the engineer sets up high he might not have known. i'm going to see if i can get invited into the cab for a cab ride the next time i go VRE fanning.

@MrConraal Its from the cab car which was leading and now VRE is becoming lazy and just operating the train from the locomotive in the back. So he probably just snuck it in

Nice! I wanna know 2 things. Did the engender-and/or conductor know about this video? And was their many people onboard? I was trying to get a shot like that for a while and I just gave up lol.

Manassas Line. It's one of the two reverse commute trips in the afternoon. I did a "remake" of this vid just a week or so ago with a different crew. Hard to hold a little camcorder that whole time.
