so you just cut a wire off an electric tool striped the other end and plugged it in?

I wonder if you could make glass things with fine sand and a large gap between the ground buried in the container... Or maybe if you used a metal drum and insulated the top, but then touched the middle of the fine sand, it might make a crazy glass web... but that might actually take a much higher voltage...

@Asylumescapee69 This has been done before, "artificial fungurites"... You don't need that high voltage, just bring the electrodes close together and draw the arc through the sand.

The sound suggested you used also hi-frequency power suppy. Am I right? What is the frequency used?

Power supply? It is the wall socket (230V) and if you mean the hv supply they are some ballasted mots, around 1600VA
