I don't like CNN. BUT the cop was out of line. I am disgusted with his behavior. I've lived in many states, and the Police officers I've come into contact with are not like this. I hope this 'one' is 'FIRED"!

policemen like this punk ass moron need to be fired, the flip side of the coin is when this policeman was getting heated the cameraman and anchor man should've retreated a few feet until he was out of the way. back to the other side of the coin,the "RIGHT OF FREE PRESS" this policeman violated! how many other anglo-saxon male and females did this degenerate harm? send him to the gallows,he should've known better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@CommunieNetwork He WAS complying. He was going back to the van as ordered, then the police officer arrested and deatined him without warrant or probably cause. This was two cases of aggrevated assault(since the officer was armed), assault, unlawful arrest, and unlawful detainment.

@canofcrass Granted, but then they would've had an actual charge to put on him. And the video would've been used against him in court as evidence.

@filmstone democracy? =)

Damn I know how to get to that hill where the electric polls are so easily where the camera is shooting when in its on the floor. That would've been nice to film. To bad I didn't know that this happened when it happened.
@pacononame Crews can film juveniles when they are in a public setting. The highway is public.
Media are required to observe limitations when shooting juveniles in schools, daycares, etc. (Those who are shown on TV are to have signed parental consent forms.)
Notice the video shows plenty of people stopped and milling about. No civilians, including the KVIA crew, were inside a police perimeter. They were on the periphery. And they had every right to remain there.
