  • A little faster without the heavy top I take it?

  • @NoLongerFooled

Just a little, every little bit helps. There is one thing that was probably slowing me down the most and hopefully it gets resolved when I put the blazer back together.

  • @bigcow22 So you have the truck apart eh? I wonder how much that top weighs.....150 pounds?

  • @NoLongerFooled

The top weighed more than 150lbs. Never really weighted it but it takes at least 3 people to remove it. I would say 350 to 500 pounds.

  • Not yet, we have some theories, but we are going to pull the motor anyway to inspect it.

  • @bigcow22 I've taken the top off my '84 Blazer a few times, and it's really heavy.

But yours it the full convertible top, so it must be even more heavy. Just for the sake of argument, if your top is 350 pounds, do you feel that at all when racing? It seems like you would.

When is your truck going to be back together? When can we expect more vids?

  • oh right on ya theres not much gonna be going on in the next couple of months anyways except avenal in may i think

  • lookin good kid, still runnin strong. did yo figure out why it puked out out on theat one pass?
