Hey pirate thanks for the info. Ya actually I'm at that point where I'm gonna buy a combo. I'd like to build a 3d trainer with epp. I wan't something I can keep crashing without having to repair it all the time. Luckily I have the 4 channel radio from the hydrofoam to last me until I get a dx6 or something.

Yeah, I am thinking about making a profile Wild Hawk. With the Wild Hawk motor and the VERY heavy battery, weight is a big issue. I think I will use the wings and control surfaces and just attach them to a foam board...sounds simple. If that doesn't work, I think I might have to get new electronics.
