I have the beast right now and its an amazing shaft . Its pretty heavy once you first get it . But once you get used to it and build the muscle mass to get used to it . Its an awesome shaft . Not to mention its every attackments worst nightmare !

i got my talon a year ago. took me along time to snap it, but when i did, it was on another guys chest. needless to say, he broke his collar bone.

which is better the protector or beast?

It really depends on your physical size/strength and how you play defense - typically, bigger close D-men who like to "lay the lumber" prefer the Beast. Most other D guys, including long stick midfielders prefer the lighter weight of the Protector.
