I need to know how you got the pen to work..I have a TC1000 with 768 RAM/1.0ghz...and i had W7 Ultimate on it, it ran fine, but i couldnt get the pen working...

@schlock1701 The pen just worked upon installing Win7 Ultimate. Have you downloaded the drivers from HP's website? Installing the drivers is a bit tricky. You have to use the "Administrative" route. Also the TC1000 model is slightly different from the TC1100 in that the stylus on the TC1000 needs a battery so be sure to check that.

HP created a good Tablet on 2003... and they killed it.

HP created a good Tablet on 2011... and they killed it, and made it popular selling it for $99.

Am I the only person who think HP is managed by monkeys instead of people?

I got a refurbed TC1100 installed windows 7, upgraded ram to 2GB and try to do my homework on it. I love the concept of pen and being able to write on it but I have to say that I am not happy with it! Gets very hot and if you have one other software on for example one note and a pdf file, it slows down and the pen response becomes very very slow!! Does anybody have any idea on how to speed it up?

i just bought one used with w7 installed but i cant get the screen to rotate, how did you get that to work, also mine seem to run much slower than yours, any idea ?
