Baltimore Orioles win 2016 World Series

The 2016 Baltimore Orioles repeated as World Champions by sweeping the Washington Nationals in the "Beltway World Series" 4-0.

The 2016 Orioles struggled early to defend their crown, but traded for Dallas Braden in order to bolster their rotation. The Orioles won the AL East by a slim margin over the Boston Red Sox, and barely snuck into the playoffs in a tough AL East race.

After sneaking into the playoffs, the Orioles swept the Cleveland Indians 3-0, beat Boston 4-2 by winning 3 straight to end the series, and swept the Nationals 4-0.

Overall Baltimore was a whopping 11-2 in the postseason as they clinched their 2nd straight title.

Hmm.. I'll stake a guess and say that every other team in the majors had like 30 injuries and were playing all minor leagures... I can't figure out another way that the orioles and nationals would be in the world series.

I love how the players are all excited and celebrating, yet the fans just sit in there seats and stare...no celebrating by the fans? I mean come on your team just one the World Series it should be at least a little exciting...
