@dani4wd the stuff in the bowl is DME or Dry malt extract. it is what gives the beer taste flavor and fermentable sugars to make alcohol. there was more off camera i just wanted to show how it coagulates.

I have a question... Is the DME so important?... I ´ve read you only have to mash malted barley grains... what´s the point with that malt extract? sorry for my broken english... I´m not native speaker. By the way those videos are great man!!
