@alagodny We have 100% evidence that the galaxies are expanding away from each other (this is fact, not belief). This is proof that they all stemmed from the same point in the past. I mean, just use common sense, it's not all that hard to fathom.

It is impossible to disprove a theory about space and time that doesn't make definitive statements about either. Hence, it is not scientific. It might be better to call this practice mathematical philosophy or physical theology or something.

And the proponents of the expanding universe theory use infinite size and infinite expansion without a definite origin or end.

The theory that galaxies are all accelerating away from each other is based on mathematical calculation from a very limited set of observations. It suggests that the universe, not the galaxies, are expanding. But it does not prove anything definitive, especially the existence of a big bang from one point. For example, where is the location of that point, the focus of the big bang? Some theorists say it is impossible to prove. That is a serious hole in the big bang theory.
