ok than, how come this alien looks exactly like the ones we do in movies and comic books? This is a classic alien everyone recognises. If you show this to a 7 year old he will instantly recognise it as an 'alien'.

I was expecting some sort of sceintific analasis. This is bullshit. Who can say how they would look?! why wouldn't they look like us? maybe all intelligent life evolves in a similar form. We just don't know.

I completely agree with todesacanagem , this is not an analysis by any stretch of the imagination. While it is true that a lot of aliens 'could' look very very different possibly unrecognisable in some cases it is not impossible for a life form to develop like this on one or more planets or where ever they 'might' come from.

I would like someone to do a proper analysis of the video and look at the possible subtleties that would reveal it as either fake or possibly genuine.

this isnt an analisys of the video.....its just a guess.......i thought you were going to do an analisys of  the movements, textures, etc. who knows if they would have 2 eyes or what ever....you cant know that.....in that case i could say...i see 2 eyes...but i dont see a nose....i see 4 fingers, not 5.....i dont see the same proportion as humans, i see a huge head and a small body.....a different color of skin, and a strange texture to it....etc.

just because it looks like us it doesn't mean it's not alien. Maybe we were all engineered by the same entity/intelligence. I'm not saying "God" or anything devine but maybe something far superior and out of the realm of our limited understanding of the way the universe works.

No, the question is, why do the comic book and movie aliens look like the reported one, I'm not saying this is real, but I know that the movies are based on the sightings and not vice versa.

again that is not conclusive of anything. you can ask the question of which came first: maybe someone saw a real alien which resulted in the image we identify with today and most of our ideas of the appearance of aliens derive from or maybe your right and whoever made the video used that false image as a template. thats the problem with speculation, all you can draw from them is strong maybes.
