  • Where's the truck?

  • it is a two story bridge, truck burst in flame on first level, fire from beneath melted the bridge above causing the collapse

  • @WilliamAztech hide your husbands too cause they rapin everybody out here.

  • this is obviously fake, it's all cgi effects, there is no bridge, the government is behind it! hide your children hide your wives!

  • @Uncle5cary Note also there was no progressive collapse. The top deck fell, but the lower one did not.

  • Concrete is strong in compression. It does add strength to the span. The video of the bridge after the fire shows one span fell down. The span itself remained intact. Where is the cloud of dust and tiny pieces of concrete?

  • I live 2 blocks away from the guy who was driving the truck.

    My dad knows him..

  • PART 2/ Tne Aon Tower (formerly the headquarters of First Interstate Bank) wiithstood the fire because only material such as paper, wood and furnishings, ect were involved. the 5 gutted floors have been rebuilt, and all you can tell about the fire by currently looking at the building, is that the window framing around the 12 thrugh 16 floors looks newer then the rest of the building.....YES FUEL FIRES ARE VERY SUPER-HOT (20,000 degrees farenheight, and sometimes more!!)

  • Fuel and gasoline fires burn 10 times hotter then paper or wood fires......HOT ENOUGH TO MELT STEEL! Lets take a look here....a huge tanker truck crashes and catches fire under this Steel-plate-girder bridge, melting it ...the planes that hit The World Trade Center towers over 60,000 gallons of jet fuel heated the tower's support collumns, causing them to "snap" bringing down BOTH towers, but look at this case...In 1988 a fire in the 62-story Aon Tower in Los Angelas Gutted 5 floors 12 thru 16

  • Hey guys... ask yourself this... how safe wld you feel working in a building 110 storreys high made not of a reinforced steel STRUCTURE, but of steel reinforced concrete? .... mmm??? theres a difference, steel structures are structures made of steel, with concrete floors & facades built around more structure. Steel reinforced concrete, is concrete set around poles of steel, ofcourse joint to beams & pillars, but on a much smaller scale than that of a fucking 110 storey building.. Use some logic!

  • Haha, you stupid morons! :D

That is STEEL REINFORCED CONCRETE! The steel is in there to pick up the TRACTION FORCES and does NOT in anyway carry the structure.

Once you remove the concrete (let's say buy running an exploding truck against it) there is nothing that would prevent the structure from collapsing!

Once again: the steel in reinforced concrete DOES NOT carry anything in the first place!

Go to school and learn something you dumbed down sheeps! :D

  • There is another video of a bridge fire on a series called "RealTV" that ran in the 1990s that featured a tanker truck running into a bridge support and catching fire. As in this case, the truck fire sufficiently heated the bridge support girders to cause them to weaken and fail, leading to ultimate collapse. This is not some radical engineering feat, but rather chemistry and physics at work.

9/11 conspiracy nuts bring the bile up to the back of my neck...
