I do think that the shadow version is better. When the models are coloured, the change of the scene is too obvious and a bit strange. The shadow version(B&W) is obviously much smoother, especially the positive-negative transformation.

WTF, OF COURSE THE SHADOW VERSION IS BETTER, this is FAN MADE and its awesome the shadow version is done by pros with pro programs, this is done with the very limited miku miku dance program, just think how much time effort and will takes to choose and synchronize characters and music so it gives birth to this piece of art. I think that people should try to appreciate the HARD work of other fans and support them.

The shadow one is definitely better, not just the transitions but the characters themselves, the shadow versions just seem to have more energy. To fix the transitions I think it would've been best to switch back to shadows for the transitional part to make it more fluid.
