Respond to this video...Do you notice that at about 50 seconds Finn hops like my three-legged boy, Kelee? Even the same leg.

Props to you, makes me think there is hope for humans afterall in this world. far to many bad things happen these days, nice to see good endings once in awhile in this dark world.

They are striving to live, still hoping this world is still a better place to live in...

Wonderful. Rescue dogs are the best. We're lucky to have our rescue border collie, Holly (see Holly's adventures at hollydogblog (.com)

Brought a tear to my eye when I first saw him. I think every animal is beautiful, regardless of breed, colour, age... it makes me sad to think that this dog probably came from a puppy mill or some other careless owner who didn't get their dog neutered. This animal would have belonged to someone once. I'm glad he was one of the lucky ones, & was able to find a new home. Was so awesome to see his tail wagging!

This video and this whole story is wonderful. You all seem to have such a happy life together, may it last a really long time!
Yes, indeed! I actually have two dogs that had appeared on my farm and which are now my own. My younger one was dumped as a very little puppy and was running with a pack of dogs which were in the yard behind my home....tearing up a deer they had killed. I fired a shot over them to disperse them and they ran off and left this little one behind...an unexpected surprise, since I had not seen her before I fired that shot. She is with me now as I type this and is doing quite well.

@oxbird1980 What a great story! And that's the thing: each and every one of them has their own story. I am continually stunned by their ability to let the past go and to live in the moment.

This is one of the best things that can be done by a human being. It counters the absolute worst situation that can be created by mankind.
I cannot begin to explain the joys that come from a dog rescue situation like this one. I have two dogs in my home which I have rescued in this way. One of them was starved to a similar extent as "Finn" was....and looked similar in other ways. He is an absolute joy to my family.
I admire what Jeane George Weigel has done with this dog.
